Harrison Hot Springs is located on the beautiful Harrison Lake in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Harrison Lake stretches more than 60 kilometers with Harrison Hot Springs at the southern point of the lake. With just over an hour and a half from Vancouver, Harrison Hot Springs is well known for its sandy beaches, natural springs, waterfalls and beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains.
Houseboats
Harrison Houseboat Adventures offers a 59’ deluxe houseboat that sleeps up to 10 people. Each boat is very well equipped including a wet bar on the sundeck, canopy and a slide. Each houseboat includes:
- 2 private and 2 semi private bedrooms each with a queen bed
- Queen size sleeper sofa
- 1 ½ baths
- Breakfast counter
- Coffee maker
- Toaster
- Blender
- Microwave
- Refrigerators (2) (propane and electric)
- Full size oven and stove
- 19" TV/DVD player
- CD surround stereo
- Captains Flying Bridge for driving from top deck
- 2 x 155qt built in ice chests on front deck
- Large 4 burner barbecue with side burner
- 2 chaise loungers
Rental Periods
Rentals are priced by the week or day. During prime time the minimum rental is 3 days while other periods are a 2 day minimum.
Other Options
If you like to fish, Harrison Houseboats will arrange for a guide to pick you up from your boat and take you to some great fishing spots. At the end of the day you will return back to the houseboat.
Experience Required
Previous experience is not required. You will be provided instruction on operating the houseboat, safety requirements, etc. If you prefer you can have someone accompany you to Rainbow Falls for the first night to go through all the procedures.
Licensing
You do not require a boating license (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) to rent a houseboat. Prior to departure you will be provided a safety checklist for review. Be sure to ask any questions if you are not sure. Once completed you will be issued a temporary license that is good for your trip. You will need to keep this document readily available if request by officials.

Local Weather
May to October weather for Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, in half-month steps (days 1–15 and 16 through the end of the month). Air, precipitation, and wet days use nearby Agassiz RCS observations, about 7 km away (climate ID 1100119).
- Each tile is one half-month from May through October. Early is days 1–15. Late is day 16 through the end of the month. Every tile shows a value.
- Air temperature, precipitation, and wet-day percentage are 2021–2025 daily averages from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Agassiz RCS (climate ID 1100119). High and low are the average of each year’s half-month mean, so each year counts equally. A year is included for a variable only when that half-month was observed on at least 80% of its days. - High and low temperatures leave out early October 2024 (11 of 15 days). Precipitation leaves out early July 2024 (4 of 15 days), late July 2024 (5 of 16 days), and early October 2024 (11 of 15 days). Missing days in an included half-month are not filled in. The largest high and low temperature gap in an included half-month is 3 days, in late May 2025 and late July 2022. The largest precipitation gap in an included half-month is 3 days, in late May 2025, late June 2024, and late July 2022.
- Agassiz CDA (climate ID 1100120) shares the site with Agassiz RCS. Daily maximum temperature is largely missing after 2020, and that record ends 30 October 2023. These averages use Agassiz RCS (climate ID 1100119) for the full five years.
- Precipitation is liquid equivalent (rain plus the water in any snow), in millimetres per half-month.
- Sunshine is not biweekly. Agassiz RCS does not publish a 2021–2025 bright-sunshine record. Each month’s existing normal is repeated on both of that month’s tiles. Those hours are 1981–2010 normals from Agassiz CDA (climate ID 1100120), not a 2021–2025 average.
- Tile temperatures are rounded to the nearest degree.
